Cryptocurrency exchange Bitflyer welcomes its seventh year with great news due to another milestone achieved. On November 11 of last year, the exchange announced that the total number of their users in Japan, the United States and Europe has surpassed the 2.5 million mark.

Established in 2014, Bitflyer entered the industry with a vision of easing the Japanese population into the world of blockchain technology, and since its inception, it has expanded its services overseas onto different continents across the globe—specifically, in the United States and Europe.

Currently, Bitflyer is the leading and most prominent crypto exchange in Japan. They offer various services and security measures that greatly contribute towards a more efficient adoption and diffusion of the crypto market to its customers.

With more than 2.5 million users on its combined platforms, the Tokyo-based exchange is the only crypto exchange in the world with the license to operate in three regions: Japan, the USA and Europe.

Although the subsidiaries Bitflyer USA and Bitflyer UK operates independently from the Japan headquarters, each region has been successful in reaching their target market as reflected from their astounding increase in customers.

However, despite the good news, the overall goal of the company has yet to be achieved, according to the co-founder of Bitflyer and chairman of Bitflyer USA and Europe, Yuzu Kano.

In the announcement, the company added that it aims to further expand its business and services on a global scale for the next few years. They plan on branching out their presence by opening subsidiaries across different nations.

Furthermore, the developing team at Bitflyer are looking at various developments on the platform to improve the overall quality of service the company provides to its customers.

One Team, One Dream’, Yuzo Kano stated while saying that this goal can only be achieved when all regions comply with the compliance requirements of their license—a challenge that, according to Kano, he will take on boldly.
